This home is designed to start you sim off with a spacious, furrnished place with an efficient layout. I have used this home to complete the careers of at least three sims, so the layout and functionality are proven. Obviously, you may change the color schemes to your preference. You could also free up the space by the bay window, by removing the side door, and placing the chess set directly behind the couch. You'll notice there is no bathroom sink, as I feel it doesn't add any value to my sim.

Expansion is possible, as the driveway is in place, and there's room for a pool. I have many efficient layouts, and with positive responses, I will upload more. Starting price is $19,300 (obo) :0)
