This kind of lot/house I consider a step up from a starter home. It's near $30,000 so the starter families can't afford them. However, it's a perfect house for a family that has progressed. Maybe families that have children, seeing as there are 2 extra bedrooms. The house has a garage that fits 2 cars, plus extra room where you could put a work bench. The family room is large; perfect for sports parties! The kitchen already has the basics; fridge, range, counters, trash compactor, and dishwasher. On the other side of the kitchen is a dining area. If you set up a 1 x 3 table against the wall you can fit 5 chairs around it. The backyard is a great size for a greenhouse, garden, pond, swing set for the kiddies, and even add swimming pool! You can even make the bedroom with the slanted wall into a pool-like room. You can take out the window and replace it with a door so you can get out to the backyard easily. Also, you can add on the the house in the back. So this would be a perfect house for the average sims.
