Jack Spicer from 'Xialoin Showdown' *Updated 9.29.07!*

UPDATE: Hey, guys, I'm back! I believe fans of the Jack man will be pleased with what I have to bring out for them today. (Not to boast or anything, but...)

Well, I was looking for a mesh for a request I'm trying to finish up when I came across this great hairstyle for guys on XMSims. At first, I just clicked 'download' without another thought, but when I came across it again in BodyShop later that day, I realized just how much it reminded me of Jack Spicer's hair. I'll bet you can't guess what I did next!

...Seriously though.

So anyway, I tinkered around with it a bit as I jammed out to the Beach Boys and I decided I was rather pleased with what I ended up with, and so that's how we end up here. I've finally got the whole 'take good pictures or die' thing figured out (I think), and so you've got some nice full-sized screen caps to feast your eyes on. I also decided to go back and revisit my recolor of the goggles, which I'd since decided I didn't like. Instead of sticking with the perforated yellow background, I just painted over that with a nice goldenrod color and added the red spirals and a glare. I think it looks much better now. I'm also including a new skin that I finally worked up the ambition to make, and I redid the eye makeup.

I'm working on recoloring the coat again, so I'm not putting it out for you guys to use just yet. (Most of the changes are minor anyway; I made his shirt underneath red, and I might be putting a Frankenstein picture on it, I redid the boots, and I actually made the gloves fingerless gloves, instead of "fingerless" gloves with white bits that only look good on very pale people. Also, I'm working on making it so that 1) his coat goes down only to his knees, and 2) the bottom is ripped like in the show. I have a very vague idea of how to do this that doesn't involve myself and the making of a new mesh in the same sentence.)

The goggles are still a Maxis recolor, and the coat uses the same mesh as before. For those of you who are somewhat partial to the old hair and coat and goggles and such, don't worry; I'm not removing anything, just adding to your options. Well, I hope you guys enjoy the new goods. Later!

(Original: ) I was bored and looking for ideas of people to Sim, when I turned on the TV. There in all his redhead glory was Jack Spicer, and I thought to myself...well, actually I don't remember exactly what I thought to myself, but at any rate, I decided to Sim the guy. Be proud, guys! This is only my second upload, and my first time uploading my own recolors! Time for a victory dance!

Moving on, I'd like to thank the Academy...no, no I don't think so. I would, however, like to thank the people whose meshes and such made my life much easier, not to mention all the tutorials on this site for recoloring for beginners. You guys are all great, and if your name wasn't put down, remind me to do so before beating me with a snorkel. Remember, comments are welcome!
