The Mansion and Garden SP is required for this fix to work. (I was unable to select this stuffpack because. It has not yet been added to the list. I will update the required stuffpack as soon as possible)

When I got the Mansion and Garden SP I was happy to see new hairstyles. And I was even more surprised that these hairstyles also had teen and (for some of them) even child versions. Unfortunately the hairstyles of different ages weren't linked. So if a child or teen with one of these haircuts grows up he/she will loose this haircut and gets reassigned another random one. This package will fix that.



With this fix your sims will keep these hairstyles when growing up.

TWO VERSIONS
I have made two versions of this fix. You should choose ONLY ONE VERSION
'Mansion and garden hair fix' will just fix the hair and leave it in the categories where it is.
'Mansion and garden hair fix - hat only outdoor' Will do exactly the same but move the female hairstyle with hats to outdoor only. If you don't have seasons the hat only outdoor version will make this hairstyle unavailable to you.


INSTALLATION
In order for the hair fix to work you can place the file here
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden stuff\TSData\Res\Catalog\Skins.

If that doesn’t work, try these other two locations instead.
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden stuff\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden stuff\TSData\Res\StuffPack

If these locations don't work, try putting z in front of the filename to make sure my fix is loaded after the game files.

You can add them to the normal downloads folder if you want, but keep in mind that this will allow you to delete these hairs from inside the game. NEVER DELETE THEM INGAME. This will corrupt your game.

To remove them just delete the package files.

COMPATIBILITY
This fix will conflict with any hacks that hide or recategorise the Mansion and Garden hairstyles.
