Bill & Sookie
It's telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse and southern gentlevamp Bill Compton! If you watch True Blood.... SHHH! Please don't discuss the plot in this thread. We don't want to spoil it for folks who haven't seen it yet right? Right. Good. Extra special thanks to all the custom content creators mentioned below, and to the actors, writers, and entire crew that makes True Blood. Particularly Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin who portray Bill and Sookie so well.

Recommended but Not Included
  • Fangs! These sims do NOT come with fangs. You can turn Bill into a vampire yourself if you have the Nightlife EP installed. Just be careful - when he bites Sookie she'll turn into a vampire too, as evidenced above. I know it ain't right, but the pic amused me and I couldn't resist using it.

  • Fang fix. If you have Nightlife and Pets or a later expansion pack installed, adult male vampire fangs tend to flash blue and get detached from the sim's mouth. To fix this, please install Cyjon's Blue Fangs Fix. You should delete the "Accessory.cache" file from your "Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2" folder before installing the fix, in order to fix any glitchy fangs on vampires already in your game.

  • Default-Replacement vampire skin overlay. By default, Sims2 vampires have a blueish tinge which is wrong for True Blood vamps. I highly recommend TSN's Normal looking NL Vampire Skin Overlay (vampireNoBlueNoRedEye version) if you have Nightlife and plan to make Bill a vampire.

  • Maxis skin. These sims use default Maxis skin. If you have default-replacement skins installed, please download this light Non-Default Maxis Skin and put it on them in CAS.

  • Default-Replacement shorts mesh. Sookie's shorts are pictured with HystericalParoxysm's short shorts default-replacement installed. Without the default-replacement, there'll be a little ridge around the sim's waist under her shirt.

  • New improved Merlotte's tee. Since posting this thread I've updated Sookie's t-shirt - enlarged the logo to make it more authentic. Get that version here. It's better than the one she's packaged in.

  • Bill's outfit came with the Open for Business Expansion Pack. Change his clothes in CAS if you don't have OFB.

  • Hair by me. It requires the Seasons Expansion Pack. Change her hair in CAS if you don't have Seasons.

  • Top and shorts by me. They're separates and require no meshes, but I recommend getting HP's default-replacement shorts mesh linked above.


Free Tips
  • Install with Clean Installer to avoid "missing EP" error messages.
  • These sims require no Expansion Packs, but you'll need the Nightlife EP to make Bill a vampire.
