Velvet Velour aka V.V. - Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

--> STORY:

Velvet Velour aka VV. is the seductive owner of the nightclub "Vesuvius" in Hollywood, where she also is starperformer, but she doesn't want to be called a striper, she is a "dancer". She doesn't want to think back to the time of her embrace and also hasn't many memories about it either. However a Malkavian vampire once used his mental power to look in the past and it was revealed that her real name was Susan, whom Velvet believes was weak and considers to be dead forever.

She belongs to to the Toreador clan, who are some of the most beautiful and glamorous of the Kindred. The Toreador are also the most social vampire clan, which makes it easy for them to blend in the society and even develop feelings, such as love, which other clans are not capable of, or find it unnecessary to "feel". They can surpess the inner beast and maintain almost all of their humanity, which makes them very valueable as a link between mortals and kindred to maintain the facades of civility and grace, which is vital for the survival of the Kindred.
