Not A "Spordz" Fan - (Decal Free Sports Bar)

Free Time's "Ultra Serious Fan Island Bar" is probably the nicest and (potentially) most versatile of all the Maxis bars. It has handsome wood textures that are a breeze to recolor, and a nice, clean, simple design that doesn't look terribly out of place in any setting, as opposed to some of the more outlandish (tacky) Maxis designs...

EXCEPT for the fact that it is covered in sports pennants and decals that you cannot remove by simply doing a standard recolor of the object! The decals are an overlay that is applied on top of all recolors. So, unless you're sticking this bar in an actual sports bar, frat house, or a man cave, it's going to look pretty out place, seriously reducing the object's versatility in your game.

This is a simple Default Replacement texture that makes the decals invisible. Just extract it into your downloads directory and those annoying stickers will be a thing of the past.

If you decide that you are, indeed, a "Spordz Fan" and you desperately want the decals back, just remove this package file and they will return.



A small picture is included in the archive, for those who keep their downloaded RARs and want a visual reminder of what's inside. If you don't want it taking up space, simply delete it.

Compressorizer, if anything, makes the .package file bigger than it already is, so consider it thoroughly squashed, preshrunk, and compressed already!

POLICY: You may upload this with lots, but absolutely no uploading to pay sites in any way, shape, or form. No altering this and using the results on a pay site. No taking credit for this as your own work (come on...). And, should you use this as a base for a recolor, I would appreciate some credit, and a link to this page.

Sad Fact: The hardest part about making this was the eternity I spent searching my Apartment Life files for the right texture, before I remembered that the bar was actually from Free Time. Happy Valentine's Day, folks!
