When my Sims partner died a couple of days ago I was absolutely gutted at the appalling short amount of time that she spent grieving for him, and even more struck that their kids seemed only to care that their father was dead for about 2 days. Seeing as I usually play on long life span I found this a little bit annoying so I decided to make a mod to fix this, and many other buffs that I reckon should've been longer. For instance I thought that if you're remembering your First Kiss for 1 day then you should probably remember that you were rejected from your first kiss for the same amount of time (to be fair, in real life I would probably remember for A LOT longer if I got rejected than if I were kissed)

There are 3 versions of the mod, one that changes the buffs to last twice the default time, one that changes the buffs to last half the default time (I thought it would be good if you played on short lifespan) and one that changes the buffs to what I thought was appropriate.Obviously this also means that your Sims mood will be affected for longer than normal, which is the realistic effect I was trying to go for. The table below shows what changes were made for each version of the mod:



The Mod was built with game versions: 1.22,2.0,4.5,6.2,8.0 and effects the Buffs XML so will probably conflict with any other mod which edits the Buffs XML, namely Rainbow_Brite's "Positive Romance/New Baby Buffs" Mod.
