It is a sculpture with an animated alphachannel texture on the outer sphere and a little lighting in the MATD file. Looks really nice. Should be EP compatible.
If your Sim is a sorcerer or a witch (or a jedi knight or whatever suits you :o) this will make a nice addition to his lot, I think... :D
