Hello Simmers!

This is the fourth mod of my collection of "Work from Home" mods (I have already made a Writer, Painter and Athlete version.)

This mod enables the "work from home" option for the business career. Working from home has the same mechanism that came with City Living careers. You will get a notification 1 hour before work where you can choose from sending your sim to work, working from home or taking PTO. Then you get two assignments if you choose the "work from home" option. A few examples of these assignments are below.

Business (before choosing a branch)
  • chat on the computer
  • make calls
  • browse web
  • socialize with co-workers and socialize in different neighborhoods
  • drink coffee
  • play chess
  • improve charisma and logic skill

The assignments are basically the same even after choosing a branch, but there will be a few additions:

Investor
  • research stocks and invest in stocks
  • ask for loan

Management
  • make business calls
  • offer career advice

Your sim will get the same amount of money they would get by working a whole workday in the traditional way. One assignment grants half the daily wage since you get two assignments every day.

The levels, skill requirements, work days and wages per hour (if you choose to send your sim to work) remain the same as they were without any mods.

Recommendation
If you have the Get Together EP, I recommend using the club features. You can have a dedicated workplace (club hangout) and the co-worker assignments are easier to complete if you create a club that only allows sims from the business career. You can also benefit from the club perks (like skill boosts and club vibes).
