A little backstory: When my Mom was really young, she lost her father. After a few years, my Nonna, moved the family of her and her three daughters to a house closer to a new job in the cafe at one of the Albany hospitals. Nonna was so proud of that house and of herself for being able to buy it. She even was a entrepreneur, and refurbished part of the basement into a rent-able mother-in-law suite. Nonna rented that suite to college students, and then to her middle daughter when my Aunt and Uncle were looking for their own place (and dealing with a baby version of my cousin.)
My mother grew up in that house, and when Nonna died she left it to her three daughters. We've been trying to fix it up to rent it out, or let family stay there. But, my Mom and her sisters no longer live nearby, and with a bunch of cousins going to college its not economical to keep it. My Mom's been down about selling the house, and so I've decided to make her a virtual copy we can keep. And then decided to share it with your sims!

Disclaimer: My sims experience went straight from Nighlife only to the Ultimate Collection. I'm pretty sure I removed the compatiblity need for expansions/stuff packs that weren't used, but if I missed one or forgot one let me know!

This is the actual house if you want to compare. (and yes, I know the shot is of 26 Winnie Street (and that's what the package is called), but it is definitely at 32 Winnie Street.

Now,this is the first floor. As you can see there are two bedrooms, but if you need more space you can always change that backroom into a third bedroom. Or, if two bedrooms are all you need, you can always just use it as a hobby or work space. The previous resident used it as a sewing room.


On two the second floor. The basement is finished, but not the most comfortable. Good for storage, but you could fix it up to be a play room, or maybe a den. Elbows Husband Maybe you could use it as a man cave?

Yes, this is a Mother in Law suite. Its mostly unfinished, but with a little work this would be an lovely place for your in-laws to live... Neither of you speak to your mother-in-law anymore? Well, than think of it as an potential investment. You can SimBnB it, or rent it out in other ways for a little extra cash.


Now, I'm afraid that the current owners are being a little rigid: they simply will not take less than 97,100 simoleons for it. But, it is a large property, and in such a good neighborhood too. Excellent schools, close to city center without being actually in the downtown area, and plenty of space to personalize it for yourselves. So are you willing to make an offer?
