Do you not have Strangerville? Are you like me, and can't get Strangerville until next month? Do you like the idea of laptops in Sims 4, but don't want to pay $20 for them? Do you wish the vanilla laptop wasn't locked behind the freelancer career? Then boy, do I have the mod for you.

Basically I just cloned the Freeroam Portable Computing Device and removed the need to unlock it. Nothing fancy, just wanted a portable computer for all my non-freelancing sims. Price has been reduced from 1650 to 800. If anyone wants it, maybe I'll make a version with the vanilla price.

Found under Electronics>TVs and Computers. Costs 800 simoleons. BGC, same swatches as the original.
