Basic Info


I grew up with Hidden Object Search Games of the fantasy and horror variety, and they have influenced a lot of how I build in the Sims, and the kind of houses I make for my characters. However, until the house I built today, I have not managed to capture the feeling of awe and intrigue in any of my builds, while having a liveable house.
It is also my pride and joy of 2020 for now, as it has personality and doesn't look like a tired old box with a roof slapped on.
I really wanted the house to look like a fantasy witch's house, with "crooked" architecture. But since we cannot do that in the Sims 4 like we could in Sims 3 and 2, I settled for jutting rooms and intricate roofs.
I also wanted to film the process of building this, but OBS gave me nothing but a black screen. Ruining an hour of footage... So I scrapped that idea. Maybe next time?
