Hello! I’ve added the Subhood version for Open for Business. Please make sure you have the required mods installed and place the file in the correct folder. I recommend this mod for that Sims’ names that appear randomly in the subhood. Anyway, all the Sims have their names in their bios. Both the Main Hood and Sub versions include new ancestors related to Natalie Finkel and Clive Whisper.





'Service Area stands as a step along the highway of Sim Nation. In the past, the power plant led to the construction of several houses, providing homes for the workers, and over time, Service Area came to be considered a true town. Although it was founded later than its neighboring city, Jeans Shakers Oasis, Service Area still preserves a few houses that recall the region’s earliest days.

But that’s not what usually draws Sims to visit this remote town! Legends of UFO sightings and strange disappearances attract all kinds of curious Sims searching for a bit of truth in their lives... Such was the excitement caused by the stories of flying saucers that a television studio was eventually built! Numerous shows and movies inspired by these phenomena were filmed there. For some time now, Sims have gathered in the hills to watch the stars at night, but their activity is starting to irritate the military, since the city also hosts a base of its own.'



'Service Area reels from the fall of its mayors, reckless expansion, and General Xi Huan’s iron grip, leaving the place in debt and unrest. Strange events ripple through the districts, disappearances, coincidences, and whispers that never fade. Some chase the mysteries lurking around every corner, while others just want the tension to end. Yet the neighbors keep talking, pretending life is normal under the sweltering air hanging over it all.

Tyler, Poverty’s eldest son, vanished for days before being found dead. Some say if you linger in the streets long enough, you might glimpse a boy who looks just like him. Others call it rumor. Whether it’s the laughter echoing from backyards or the faint bunny-like hops across the desert, truth in Service Area always crawls back, no matter how deeply it’s buried. But with the town on the brink of collapse and those in charge refusing to let go, can the new generation find a way forward?'


This neighborhood features 16 playable families in their respective homes, along with a wide variety of townies, npc, and stray pets. All the Sims have biographies, some have ancestors. All the families have also a photo album. Some families own their own businesses. The hood includes 21 houses for sale, 22 community lots, and 5 apartment lots.





Despite its close relation to Jeans Shakers Oasis, my previous hood, Service Area can be played as an independent story, and you can enjoy it without needing to know anything about what happened previously.


This neighborhood requires a camera mod to view it completely.
