Description
• This mod adds searching for pie menu interactions.

Update 1.3
• Added Auto-pause functionality when opening the pie menu (restores previous speed on close), this is turned off by default.

Update 1.2
• Added Tiny UI Fix compatibility.
• You can now change the search type.
• UI recolors are now supported and will no longer cause conflicts.

Installation guide
If you use Tiny UI Fix, rerun it after installing or updating this mod.
Ensure that Mono Patcher is installed.
• Download & unpack .zip, and place Arro_PieMenuSearch.package file in your mods -> packages folder.

Usage guide
This mod is similar to Smarter Pie Menu mod for The Sims 4

1. How to Search for Interactions

• You can search using full words, such as “purchase,” “additional,” or “home.”
• Partial matches are also supported. For example, typing “pur,” “ad,” or “h” will still display relevant results.
• Even searching with multiple initials like “p a h” will return the correct interaction.

2. Selecting a Search Result

• If your search returns only one interaction, pressing Enter will automatically select it.
However, if the interaction expands into more options, pressing Enter will not select anything to avoid unintended actions.

3. Changing the Search Type

By default, the mod uses live typing. To switch to the dialog-based search
1. Open the mod file in S3PE.
2. Locate and edit the _XML file.
3. Find this line:

<SearchType value="1" />

4. Change the value from 1 to 2, so it looks like this:

<SearchType value="2" />

5. Save your changes and close S3PE.
When using dialog-based search, instead of clicking the search button, you can also press F to activate the search function.

4. Keeping the Search Box Active

• The search box remains active at all times unless you manually click elsewhere.
If you lose focus from the search box, you can easily refocus by:
• Closing the pie menu and clicking the object again.
• Clicking on the interaction that includes the ellipsis button (...).

5. Enabling Auto-Pause

By default, the mod does not pause the game when opening the pie menu. To enable auto-pause:
1. Open the mod file in S3PE.
2. Locate and edit the _XML file.
3. Find this line:

<AutoPause value="false" />

4. Change the value from false to true:
Code: 
<AutoPause value="true" />

5. Save your changes and close S3PE.

When enabled, the game will automatically pause when opening the pie menu and restore the previous speed when closed.
