The "Sims 2 beta house" refers to the Riverside neighborhood, which was an unreleased beta version of the game's initial neighborhood. Developers used it in previews before it was scrapped in favor of neighborhoods like Pleasantview. Fans have since recreated it using early screenshots and demos, making it playable through downloads from fan sites like Mod The Sims.
