The blindness mod at home:

A while ago, I had a great desire to create a blind sorceress sim, but the amazing YourFalseHope blidness mod got corrupted along with most of the other mods after the tragic update we all know about. So I quickly came up with this crap.
This mod has absolutely nothing to do with any other mod that adds any disease or medical care. It simply adds a feature meant to simulate a Sim being blind.


Generally, my computer skills suck, but... This thing is here and it works, just a little, but it works. If you squint, it works.


"This Sim is blind. They experience the world through sound, touch, and emotion rather than sight. Everyday tasks may take a bit longer, but they’ve learned to navigate life with remarkable intuition, empathy, and creativity."


It is a lifestyle trait availble to all age groups. Slightly hinders skill acquisition. It adds a few social interactions, a few additional moodlets, including one permanent moodlet that makes the Sim constantly stressed due to their limited perception.


And that's it.

It doesn't trigger a negative moodlet when reading books, presumably to assume they're written in Braille. Still, playing a blind Sim's game is primarily a matter of roleplaying.
