UPDATE 1.2:
I found and included three more sets: "L-Shaped Staircases", "Storied Tale Stairs", and "Sharper Edge Skylights". They're all included in the complete files as well of course.

UPDATE 1.1:
I found and included two more sets: "Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather Dance Collection" and "Savvy Seller's Collection".

Description
This is for the display of some Featured Sets from The Sims 3 Store which do not show up in the game at all without this fix.

Installation
Download either one of the complete packs or just the single files for every Featured Set you want to fix. You can safely use a complete pack even if you don't own all the Sets. If you still prefer to use single files, then you can merge them together without any problems.

Also, you might notice that there are two complete files: one with everything and one without useless Sets. Technically, there is no point in fixing the Set "Rebel Just Because" as it will never show up in Buy Mode because it contains only CAS items. Then there are the three Sets "Savvy Seller's Collection", "Storied Tale Stairs", and "Sharper Edge Skylights" which will also not show up at all because all the contained items are special. But if you're a perfectionist like me and still want them to be fixed, then you can choose the fully complete pack. But if you don't care for that or if disk space is an important factor, you can just download the complete pack without the useless Sets.

Technical info
Depending on which files you choose, this will override the OBJD resources of the following Featured Sets:
  • BahHaus
  • Earth Day
  • Hogan's Deep-Fried Diner Starter Kit
  • I Heart The 50's
  • In the Dawn of Sims
  • Island Villa
  • Jazz Age Living Room
  • L-Shaped Staircases
  • Let there be Sims!
  • Rebel Just Because
  • Savvy Seller's Collection
  • Sharper Edge Skylights
  • Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather Dance Collection
  • Storied Tale Stairs
  • The Sims Strike Back

Explanation
While studying the intricacies of Featured Sets and how they work in the game, I stumbled upon a mistake in 15 of those Featured Sets: They were set as "Show In Catalog". I guess I should elaborate: Every Featured Set you install will forcibly install an additional Buy Mode object which you will normally never see in Buy Mode because they don't have any room or function assignments. In addition, their "ShowInCatalog" value is set to "False" - at least normally. With these 15 Sets, the value is falsely set to "True". These fixes will set this setting back to its correct value which is necessary because otherwise, the Sets will never appear in the list of Featured Sets.

Important Note about the three Sets "Island Villa", "L-Shaped Staircases", and "Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather Dance Collection"
If the Set "Island Villa" is installed in your game as well as the Set "Island Escape Compilation", then the "Island Villa" Set will not appear in your game even with its corresponding fix. (The same is true if you have installed "L-Shaped Staircases" as well as "Prism Art Studio", or if you have installed "Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather Dance Collection" as well as "Skylight Studio for the Performing Arts".) This is due to the fact that some Featured Sets will prevent certain other Featured Sets from appearing when both are installed together. This never happens with random Sets, but rather with big Sets which contain all the items of smaller Sets. The developers might have done this so that the game displays few big Sets instead of many small Sets, but it could easily be an oversight as well.

You can make them appear nonetheless. Just download my other mod (see Featured Sets (Store) - Unhide Subsets)
