Cleaning Autonomy Tweaks + Less Roach Obsession

Edit 16/02/2026: Added compatibility patch for Dizzy's Auto Store Food (if you downloaded within the first hour please redownload, I did it half asleep and forgot half the changes).

Cleaning Autonomy Tweaks:

In an unmodded game neat sims do nothing but clean and sloppy sims will do anything but clean. To combat this I decided to change the advertising for almost all cleaning interactions.

- Cleaning is no longer advertised as fun, instead sims will clean when things are actually dirty.
- Advertising for neat sims has been reduced so cleaning is no longer their entire personality.
- Sloppy sims can now autonomously clean (albeit less often).
- Put away books no longer advertises to the amorous motive (because apparently that is a thing).
- Sims will now autonomously fill in holes.
- Sloppy sims can now autonomously lick plates clean (sorry not sorry).
- Visitors can now autonomously clean because I refuse to pick up after dormies.


Less Roach Obsession:

Whoever was in charge of doing the advertising for roaches is a criminal mastermind.

- Sims no longer need a 160 IQ to autonomously use bug spray (high logic skill).
- Sims no longer believe that squashing roaches is a suitable replacement for 8 hours sleep.
- Sims no longer think killing roaches is fun.
- Neat sims will not autonomously stomp roaches.
- Evil witches will no longer autonomously spray roaches (the game already prevents them from stomping on roaches).


Compatibility:

Less Roach Obsession requires Cyjon's Smarter EP Check.

If you do not have all expansion packs download the zip with _Separated in the name and delete the package files for the packs you don't have.


Conflicts:

If you have Simler90's Sink Drink Mod make sure that Cleaning Autonomy Tweaks loads last.

If you have Dizzy's Auto Store Food download the compatibility patch and have it load after both mods.

Is fully compatible with Pick'N'Mix's Driving License mod, no load order required.

Make sure you run HCDU Plus to check for conflicts prior to installing (the list of modified resources is long).
