This mod includes the Give Eulogy mod that is discontinued because I wanted my teen sim - whose parents were elders - to honor them and I got carried away ^^

What's in the package :

Funeral party type made available for all sims
  • Place the urn on the lot where you want the party to be held at and click on it, even from a distance
(Tip) If a lot isn’t showing up in map vew, change its type to “park” and that will do the trick

The Give Eulogy interaction on podiums
(Tip) I recommend using my Just Sit mod to seat guests, they will stand up when the eulogy starts

Three new interactions on urns :
  • Get Sim Picture - to get a portrait of the deceased sim;
  • Pay respects - sims will bow down;
  • Gather Mourning Sims - sims from the list will come up to the urn even if they are not on the same lot

A coffin object (3 versions included in the package thanks to Around The Sims), found under Sculptures, with 4 interactions :
  • Pay respects,
  • Minute of silence - a group interaction,
  • Weep,
  • Farewell - sims will wave goodbye


03/05/26 Update : You might not know it, but funeral parties exist in the base game; however, they are only available if a sim has died on your home lot. This mod unlocks them for any sim by clicking on their urn. You can organize funerals at home or on community lots. The only requirement is to place the urn on the lot where you want the party to be held at before clicking on it. If a lot isn’t available, change its type to “park” and it will show up.


25/04/26 Update : added the option on urns to "gather mourning sims" of that ghost from all over the world + the Eulogy now unlocks Funeral party interactions like “Speak highly/poorly of” and “Give condolences,” available until the grave is laid in the cemetery.

21/04/26 Update : added Russian STBL and the option to translate "Open" and "PickGhost".

All these interactions will either reduce the negative mood effect or the length of the mourning buff (thank you Twinsimming), that's why the Eulogy alone will no longer remove the mourning buff entirely.

Known issues : STBL doesn't work for the "Get Sim Pucture" interaction, I don't see why.
I noted that with the Give Eulogy interaction someone had a reset at the end of the animation; I believe this is now fixed, but tell me if this is not the case.
Be careful not to sell the coffin if an urn is inside; you will lose the urn!
