Default French Tombstones + Customizable Epitaphs!

BONJOUR ! Today I'm showing off a set that has taken me over a week of hard work: my French Tombstones with Customizable Epitaphs! Basically, I'm French, and I wanted the tombstones in my Sims' cemeteries to look like the ones we have in my country.


Description:

This set contains 4 files, which you can pick and choose from:

1. Default French Tombstones: These replace the original Maxis tombstones, including Sim tombstones, Aspiration tombstones, and Pet tombstones. For each type (Normal, Aspiration, and Pet), you must choose ONE color only. You can use the same color for all three types, or you can mix and match different colors between them.

2. Decorative French Tombstones: These are the decorative versions of my tombstones. They have no Sim interactions, although pets can still chew/scratch them, so please keep that in mind. All recolors are included within the meshes.

3. Customizable Epitaphs: These are essentially decorative wall objects that fit directly onto the corresponding tombstones. There are separate versions for Sim tombstones and Pet tombstones, so make sure to use the correct type. I also included a folder with the .png templates so you can create your own custom epitaphs/recolors

4. Invisible Fence: I made this invisible fence for anyone who doesn't already have one installed. This is to put around the tombstones so Sims and pets don't walk through them.

I strongly recommend using my Ghosts Don't Haunt Tombstones mod alongside my default tombstones, because ghosts rotate them after haunting them otherwise.

I also recommend Lamare's Shiftable Everything mod so you can decorate the tombstones with flowers and other items like I did in my screenshots.


Also those cheat codes to place everything correctly:

- "moveobjects on"
- "boolProp quarterTilePlacementEnabled true" then press CTRL + F to enable quarter-tile placement
- "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false"

Troubleshooting:

- White and other light colored fonts on epitaphs thin out when zoomed out. I don't know how to fix this. Making the font bold/larger seems to help a bit.
- This is a behavior that's from the Maxis defaults, but -- if your default tombstones happen to be flipped in the wrong direction in relation to how you're rotating them, place the tombstone indoors and then back out to fix it.


Conflicts:

The default tombstones will conflict with any other mod that replaces the original tombstone meshes and/or textures.
