Equal censorship for male and female Sims.

This is a mod I've wanted to make for a long time, and I've finally gotten around to making it!

EqualCensor changes the way The Sims 3 handles censorship and shirtless CAS options so that male and female Sims are treated equally. I don't believe women should be censored simply for having a female chest, and I wanted my game to reflect that.

EqualCensor is split into two separate downloads, so you can use either one individually or install both.

EqualCensor_Mosaic.zip

This is the censorship portion of EqualCensor.

Normally, The Sims 3 covers most of a female Sim's body with the censor mosaic while male Sims are censored only from the waist down.

This mod changes female censorship to behave like male censorship: the mosaic covers the lower body instead of the entire body.

This applies across female Sim life stages.

EqualCensor_CAS.zip

This is the Create-a-Sim portion of EqualCensor.

It makes EA's existing shirtless female CAS parts selectable in the same appropriate clothing categories as their male counterparts.

Currently these are available for:
  • Swimwear
  • Sleepwear

The mod uses EA's existing body resources. It does not add custom body meshes or skin textures.

This is not a sexual-content mod.

EqualCensor does not include sexual content, anatomical skin replacements, custom nude meshes, or sexual gameplay.

The purpose of this mod is simply equal treatment.

I support the principle behind the Free the Nipple movement: that women's chests should not automatically be treated as something that must be hidden while men's chests are considered acceptable.

EqualCensor brings that principle to The Sims 3 — treating male and female Sims equally, as though the distinction had never been necessary in the first place.
