This old mill house was once used to grind grains into meal and flour. The large barn structure was perfect for storing other materials like lumber. Being right on the river leading out to the ocean, it provided great access to the shipping boats for moving materials in and out of the valley. As the years went on, the harder it became to bring in raw materials from outside the valley. Soon, the mill had to close its doors for good. The valley’s ancestors didn’t want to lose such a gem of history, so it was preserved and turned into the perfect gathering for tea and nectar tasting!
