Inside Llewyn Davis - 2013 - 10/10
Great film. Oscar Isaac was fantastic as Llewyn. The cats were sublime, but I don't know their names. Many wonderful supporting performances including John Goodman as usual. (And Garrett Hedlund for my viewing pleasure) Running out of superlatives here, but I highly recommend it. |
The Campaign (2012) - 3/10

They were all enjoyable films and had parts that I liked a lot. Some were slightly better than others. None of them really "grabbed" me the way some animated films have in the past, but, again, they were all enjoyable. Catching Fire 9/10 - Possibly just because I wanted to see it so badly, but I also loved all the little details, too. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - ok, I fell asleep for portions of this. The parts I did see were good, however, and I don't feel I can rate this film separately from the series since it is all so very intertwined. I'll give it a 9/10 or even a 9.5/10 without having seen all of it because I just enjoyed the Harry Potter films that much. |
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods 3/10
I'm very disappointed with this one. The best word to describe it, for me, is: trolling (or milking the franchise). |
Pacific Rim (2013) - 5/10
The Nut Job (2014) - 5/10 That Awkward Moment (2014) - 4/10 Ride Along (2014) - 1/10 Oliver & Company (1988) - 5/10 Ginger Snaps (2000) - 5/10 Cloudburst (2011) - 8/10 Ginger & Rosa (2012) - 6/10 |
The Lego Movie (2014) - 6/10
Maniac (2012) - 2/10 Vampire Academy (2014) - 6/10 All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006) - 4/10 Breaking the Girls (2013) - 4/10 |
I went to see Maleficent the other day, and I loved it! It hasn't got very good reviews, but I thought it was brilliant and really enjoyed it.

@Dizzy-noodles -- I want to see it and it has really good reviews, what would you rate it out of ten?
X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) - 8/10 Loved Loved Loved this film.I want to go and see it again. RoboCop (2014) - 4/10 3 Days to Kill (2014) - 5/10 Tarzan (2013) - 4/10 Ok I liked it but I thought it would be better if they stuck to the original story of Tarzan and not add the thing about the meteor. I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013) - 5/10 I Spit on Your Grave (2010) - 5/10 The Monuments Men (2014) - 6/10 The Possession (2012) - 4/10 |
The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box
8/10 |
Mannequin (1987) - 5/10
Bride of Chucky (1998) - 4/10 A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014) - 5/10 ^ Was not as good as the trailer made it out to be,was funny sometimes but other than that it was pretty boring and when I went to see it there was about 7 people in the cinema, |
How to Train Your Dragon 2 - 10/10 In terms of the story itself, I would not rate it as highly as the first film since it feels like a bridge and since it lacks the novelty of the first one. It is still very enjoyable and I laughed and cried throughout it. The music is staying with me long after I've left the theater and visually, it is mind blowing!
*edit* I just changed the rating on HTTYD2 after seeing it for the second time. Wow - just Wow! I loved every detail even more the second time. I was mad the first time about ....it's a spoiler, but I'm over it now (at least the mad part). The Iron Giant 10/10 - It's really sweet! |

All Cheerleaders Die (2013) - 6/10
Loved this film, was not scary but it was funny and not like any other horror film I have seen before. Walk of Shame (2014) - 5/10 Was funny but went on for to long. Oculus (2013) - 5/10 Typical horror film nothing original,it was not scary it was pretty boring.Plus it did not make sense at all and the ending did not wrap anything up. |
I went to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 the other day, it was great! I'd give it a 10/10!

God's Not Dead - 2/10. Eh. I just don't know. Like...actors for both Christian movies and low-budget gay movies are about the same par, let's say that. The difference is, with this movie, everyone was stereotyped. Like, HEAVILY stereotyped. To the point where it was a problem. The Muslim girl was the worst problem. Of course, she really wanted to be a Christian. Of course, she didn't really want to wear a hijab. Of course, the movie's producers had her wear the hijab incorrectly AND her arms were uncovered, too, because they didn't do their research. (Can you tell I'm angry already?) Also, her father was overprotective and abusive. Of course. The Chinese student of course tested out of math and science and of course he was stereotypically Asian. Of course the Liberal, left-wing blogger was a vegetarian, and a rude vegetarian (like they all are). Of course the conservatives are right. Of-fucking-course.
Also, of course the Atheist professor had a sob story about his mother died of cancer (yes, really) so that was why he was a hardcore Atheist. And every Atheist and Muslim in the movie was a bad person, while every Christian was a great (or at least decent) person. OF. COURSE. Now I've forgotten why I even almost liked this movie for the first five minutes afterward...oh yeah, the plot was decent-ish. The plot was okay. The acting, though. And the stereotypes. And the fact that the Atheist professor (of course) died at the end of the movie, but not before converting to a born-again Christian. Everything was a cliche. Literally everything. Not to mention the whole movie's premise in itself is a cliche since the whole idea of an Atheist professor trying to disprove God is a cliche (at least in America). Sorry, this turned into a rant. I'm a Christian myself, I love Jesus, but I also love people regardless of whether they are Atheists or Muslim or for goodness sake, vegetarian of all things. So basically the movie was awful in every regard and I edited my rating from 4/10 to 2/10 and I'm not even sure it deserves that, lol. Don't see it unless you want to hate Christians, because a lot of Christians, including priests and pastors, hated the movie too after all. It's just bad. |
Snowpiercer - Action/Fantasy? - 7/10
It's supposed to be an allegory, so that takes care of the strange premise. I enjoyed it - maybe you will too. Liked Chris Evans as one of the heroes. (There's a scene where Tilda Swinton does something with her false teeth, a guy in the audience said "Hey, what she just do?" and made me have a silent laughing fit) See it on a big screen if you can. |
The Machine - 8/10
Science fiction movie about artificial intelligence. The film conveys that future which can sometime become a reality. Also I like the soundtrack and actors acting. |
