Over dinner tonight dad said "It's going to be strange with you not being here." I can't believe how weird it feels knowing that I'll be on the other side of the world soon, actually leaving my home and country. Before it was excited talk, planning planning planning and now that it's happening it's so surreal. I'm excited as heck, don't get me wrong, but I'm sad thinking that I'll be away from a lot of people I love for awhile.

Searching for a delicious lactose free dessert recipe for a dinner I'm going to tomorrow night. One of my closest friends got really ill when she was in Nepal last year, and since then she's been unable to eat any dairy products, so I want to make sure she can eat whatever I make, too.

What Are You Doing Right Now? What I'm doing right now is nothing, AND I mean nothing really special, except searching for more and more Simmie 2 Goodies, AND thinking that maybe, just maybe I should start playing Sims 3. I mean they are making so much awesome CC for that game that I might just have to start playing Sims 3 instead of Sims 2...hmmm.

Going, going, going to go do some work for money. Look out, stair rails, I'm coming to clean you!

I overthought things this morning, so I've been trying to take my mind off everything by keeping busy. Hence, things achieved today:

• All tutorial work for next week done
• Listened to an online lecture
• Massive spring clean of my room, including the outside of the windows (which took some manoeuvring)
• Finally got a haircut
• Baked a cake
• Made dinner

I've pretty much run out of things to do now.

Watching Over the Hedge. It's such a cute movie!

Just got back from seeing The Artist. Great movie, and an amazing canine star. Well, technically the dog wasn't the star, but he was to me. :P

Waiting for the handball game to start. I think I need an aspirin.

Definitely did the overthinking today, so I'm planning myself a busy day tomorrow.

I'm waiting on a friend to come and pick me up so we can go shopping. I'm definitely in the mood for some retail therapy.

I've been in a very musical mood today. I've listened to so many songs by so many bands, it's ridiculous. I'm rediscovering old songs I used to love. Sad this day has to end, but it does.

Although, I'd gladly stay up for hours if only I could talk to my best friend. I miss her so much even though I talked to her the other day. Hmm.

To top today off I now have to somehow tell my friend that I really don't think I can make her birthday celebrations this Sunday, so all my friends are going to be mad at me.

Attempting, key word, to review The Hunger Games and Mockingjay. I'm failing miserably. Oh well, I'll take even a half-assed review if it means I can get my dang credits and stop worrying about it.

Waiting for a phone call that's due any minute now from England. This is my job interview.... oo phones ringing!

Gonna eat some vegetable soup, and then I'm heading out to meet a friend for a coffee.

My Sim is is on a painting marathon.

While she paints her butt off, I'm going to watch the rest of an Italian movie and squee about what I can understand.

Just finished studying (it's midnight), now I feel like I'm hiiiigh.
