I have to leave for work in 25 minutes and I'm having a really hard time not just crawling back into bed. I was not sufficiently prepared for working so many impromptu late/early shifts this week!

I got halfway to the mailbox before I realized that today's a holiday... there is no mail. Crap. I wanted my keys -.-... ah well.

Now I'm going to marathon Heroic Age and finish it.

So, park day was today at my mom's school. Good god, I've never seen so many screaming kids in one place. Strangely, but luckily, the only time I got freaked out was on the bus to the park. Figures.

I cannot wait until Friday. Why? Not because it's the end of the second-to-last week of school, oh no. Because it's the day we officially rent the house! I wanted to say own, but we don't, so. It's also the day we can start moving stuff over, which means MY BOOKS CAN COME OUT OF THEIR BOXES!! My poor books, all cooped up in the boxes.. I know they desperately want out, and I can't wait to unpack them, even though they'll have no shelves to go on.

Can you tell that I'm loopy with exhaustion? Yeah. I can. Gnight.

Doing a last bit of research on the Kindle Touch. I'm pretty certain I'm going to buy one tonight but I just want to make sure I'm going to be happy with it before I go off and spend $160.

^ It is soooooo easy to read, and feels much nicer to hold than the original Kindle. Good, long battery life and room for lots of books.

Just had dinner so now i'm blobbed in the arm chair before I go finish tidying my room at last.

Writing a paper. Yay. Please kill me.

New day, and I really need to ramble a little somewhere.

I'm totally planning on cosplaying Lucy Heartfilia for Anime Expo 2013. I can't do it this year for a few reasons. One, I'm not the right size. Two, we can't afford to go. And three, I'll be the right age next year. My parents are great at sewing, and my mom's made Halloween costumes for me before, so I'm sure they can make my outfit, instead of buying one for $100+. Another reason I really want to is because of the keys she uses. I have 3, the rest are cheap to buy, so if I get a whip I can totally do it right.

Nerdy? Totally. Silly? Hell no. I've (sort of) always wanted to be a cosplayer, and this is the first opportunity I have to do it, so I'm going to take it.

Longest day ever and I'm too tired to think straight, but I'm finally snuggled up in my own bed which is nice.

Filling out application forms and feeling wildly inadequate.

Edit: 'Please give details of any hobbies and interests'... I deeply resent having to provide that information, mostly because I seem to lack any interests that actually sound, well, interesting, but also because it's largely irrelevant to the job. Let's face it, I'm not going to be hanging out with these people in my spare time.

New day, new projects. Today we're insulating the new house's garage door and moving my books and my two small bookcases over.

This would be tons more fun if it wasn't 103 degrees out. Bleh.

EDIT: Okay, door didn't get insulated, but that's on the agenda for tomorrow. Got 3 boxes of books over, though.

I've been considering exchanging my old and most trusted PC for a laptop, for the sake of escaping my room anytime while browsing. But I can't just let my PC go, it's been with me for over 7 years now.

Playing FB games and being bored. :/

Packing my carry-on bag. My suitcase is in the lounge waiting to go, so all that's needed now is to get some sleep and be at the airport in just under 9 hours Yay!

Downloading a book to the Nook and craving more chips.

I got a new rolling bag thing from my mom today. It holds sooo much stuff.. great for hauling things to do to the new house. Can't wait to use it tomorrow.

Hey, don't judge, I've been at this for like eight months, trying to catch up. I've gone from 5 months to one week. I'm doing this, no matter how tired I am.

Killing time by playing every single game I know on Facebook, oh look my friend is online. :D

Getting ready to go out and visit Oakley and see my old house. I get to meet my friend I haven't seen since I was five today!! After years of correspondence I'm so excited! :D

Trying to decide whether to go to a party tomorrow evening or not. It would be nice to get out of the house, but the party's in London and the only person I'm going to know there is the host unless I can persuade a friend to come along.
