tiwlight sucks big time i mean i think it is ruddish beacuase the vampires are not vampires. no afense to mordern day vampires but i do not like them much esscapily the ones in tiwiglight (i hate it so much i can't spell it right). i do not understand why they have shinie skin it is just silly and all that stuff with bella it is more wet than a damp sponge. so that's why i hate tiwlight!!!!!!!!!
|
You have listed all the points to hate it.
There's nothing logical in the movie, the stuffs shown are all irrelevant. |
Twilight is sexist and the novel's popularity illustrates how women in North America and Europe have internalized sexism. Worst of all, men constricted by gender assume all women who can read love Twilight; in reality, all women who can't read love it.

I think Edward was Stephanie's imaginary tween love that she first dreamt up after reading about Lestat and Armand from Rice's Vampire Chronicles. If you notice, Edward has Lestat's 'mind-reading' + Armand's hair (only shorter) and Armand's age. He's also pathetic for the reason that he's gayer than both Lestat and Armand put together and he's not even supposed to be gay whereas Lestat and Armand were always meant to be at least bisexual.
|
-Bad acting
-Fairy-Vampire Hybrids(Sparkles+Vegetarianism=FAIRY) -The werewolves don't eat anybody -Edward always looks depressed and the majority of everything he says is "I'm a vampire." -Bella always says "Turn me into a vampire." -Someone tell my WHY Bella would choose a fugally undead creature of the sparkles with fangs over a sexy werewolf with rock hard abs. -Almost every one has no personality except Jacob. The only two things I like are: -Jacob's actor -Where it's filmed (aka my state,Washington) |
Because it's kinda garbage...

Why I hate Twilight.........Well,at least that's easy!
1) Did SMeyer ever finished the Elementary school?! I mean, come on,she made so many grammar mistakes that it makes me sick. The book has absolutely NO IMAGINATION,just plain repeating all the time+half of the book has no sense at all ![]() 2) I haven't seen any character with personality. Have you? No, of course not. 3) Edward Cullen: Control freak. Bully. Creap who watches you while you sleep. No emotion at all-hit him and he won't say 'ouch'. Arrogant. Demanding. PSYCHOOOOOOO. Only a person with a constant brainfart could like him-yes,that's Bella. 4) The birthing scene in Breaking Dawn is horrible. No need to puke blood okay? 5) The fact that whenever we write something against Twilight here,it gets a few disagreements. It's obvious that those Twilight fanatics want everyone to believe in their freakin' religion. I'll rather die than compliment Twilight! There, I said it. Whatcha gonna do?! 6) Alltime contraditing. It's not really normal. 7) The people who made this so-called-movie a religion. So they're not fans anymore, they're fanatics now. The only thing on their mind is this crap. They are taking this WAAAAAAY too far! No need to threath other. we all have OUR OWN LIKES & DISLIKES. I hope they are smart enough to get it. Oh and yeah: IT'S JUST A MOVIE, GET OVER IT. 8) The film is a total piece of crap. Terrible, terrible,TERRIBLE! Why have I even spent my money on it? You know, I left in the middle of the movie. Talk about quality. Thank God I have normla friends and family so I don't know anyone who actually likes this piece of sh*t. 9) I believe there are soo much better books about vampires and werewolfs and all those creepos. I personally don't like that kind of fiction, I'm more of LOTR type ![]() That's all, I think. |
BECAUSE... This shitty series with the clichéd vampires vs werewolves plot; predictable, awful storyline and the insulting characters that represent the two creatures are so damn OVERRATED!!!
I hate listening to girls talking about this disgrace of hollywood. These movies are just too crappy for human consumption. |
As I've stated previously, Twilight is an extremely guilty pleasure of mine. I actually enjoy some parts of it -- anything relating to Alice and Jasper, mostly. But, for the most part, I hate it with a fiery passion, and here is why: Both of my sisters are, it pains me to say, very Bella-like. So, while I hate that I can empathize with any of the main three, I very much like Jacob. I have many times found myself in his shoes: powerless to stop someone I love from destroying themself. I also dislike Edward, probably because he is, to me, the embodiment of everything that's ever tried to hurt one of my sisters. I definitely project all of my powerless rage onto him. I also see Bella as the weak, unlikable parts of my sisters: one's temper and taste for unsuitable men, the other's flightiness and poor decision-making skills. I like Charlie -- he reminds me of my father. Another thing I dislike is the lack of grace with which the Mormon morals are shoved down my throat. If Steph were at least artful in offering her viewpoints, that would be something. I also dislike the implications that a woman is nothing without a man, or that she is helpless to take care of herself, or that shedding every trace of your former life and permanently changing yourself into something 'better' (which the rest of the world tells you is a death-sentence) is the only way that 'pathetic little you' will ever be 'good enough'. I do not consider myself a feminist, but I find the morals and views expressed in the Twilight series incredibly offending. While I do think it would be a shame for anyone to spend their life without romantic love, I think that Steph's definition of 'love' is so horribly, pitiably inaccurate that it makes me want to contact some form of authorities and warn them that she's a victim of domestic, verbal, and emotional abuse by her husband. She finds things romantic and sweet which most people would present in court when trying to secure a restraining order against the person who did it. At least she seems to have some idea of what realistic, actual parent-child love ought to be, but I am incredibly concerned by the lack of child-parent love she displays. Bella is, at best, outright disrespectful to both Charlie and Renee. She, as a minor, does not consult them before making life-changing decisions, nor even conduct herself in accordance to any rules they make. Perhaps my viewpoints are harsh on the subject, but please remember that, to me, Bella is the embodiment of everything I hate about sisters whom I otherwise love. Considering that my sisters are the sort who will lie, cheat, steal, run away from home, and do just about anything else to create drama and get attention, I hope this is understandable. Especially because I personally know men who have been broken up with by their significant other because they 'aren't enough like Edward', I can assure you all that Twilight is indeed being taken seriously, and girls are using this an an archetype for what love and a relationship ought to be. If that isn't reason enough to find this series abhorrent, and to believe that it is a direct affront to reason and general human decency, I don't know what is. I'm not even going to start on the grammatical errors, poor plotlines, psychological disorders portrayed as normalcy, or anything not pertaining to my most major problems with the series.
If I may, i'd like to offer you all a video I think you will enjoy. This gentleman, Doug Walker, expounds on views I share. I think I've posted this video on another thread also in this group, but I think it merits sharing again: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/vi...ing-dawn-part-1 |

As far as the book goes, I don't hate it, other than the fact that whenever I see the name "Bella Swan", I see Kristen Stewart, who I can't help but hate. I don't care that I'm a christian. I hate her. I'm sure that Stephanie Meyer ruined the life of a little girl named Bella Swan somewhere. Bella is a creeper. The vampires (other than Alice) are really dumb. Vampires do not sparkle, which is why Van Helsing and Underworld and Interview With a Vampire are good twilight cures. Team Edward or Team Jacob? Are you kidding? Just because there is a crappy love triangle doesn't mean you psychos out there should choose "teams". READ THE BOOK WHYDONCHA, PSYCHOS!!! If your such huge fans of it, deal with the fact that the books ended the way they did. Leave the trash buried where it lies. Don't go digging it up again. I hope that all of the twilight will die when the movies end.

The reason I watched it was because my mother watched it and absolutely loved it. Normally we have a very similar taste, and she kept recommending it. And I love vampires, so I thought it must be something great. However, Twilight left me totally emotionless. I didn't hate it, I was just puzzled what could possibly be likable about it to my mother, because it invoked no emotion from me at all. I could see the scenes that were supposed to invoke emotions, but they didn't touch me.
The characters were dull and one-dimensional, more like archetypes than characters. The only exception is Bella's father, I believe. The plot was very simplistic and naive, and there was no tension that I could feel, no excitement. The significance of "love" was blown out of proportion, in truth they didn't know each other well enough, so it was merely an insignificant and fleeting crush, and although it was alright for young Bella to mistake it for "the love of her life", but for an old vampire to be so inexperienced about a trifle obsession is unbelieavable. Actually it's been my gripe for a long time when old or immortal characters in movies and anime (which I also watch) act like teens. And that's what Edward's psychological development is: a teen. Sparkling skin made my jaw drop. Whenever I think of it I feel puzzled at how such an idea could ever occur to somebody. I think it looks silly for a vampire. And unrealistic. Moreso, all along the movie I kept thinking that there's no way that the Cullens could remain undiscovered for a single day if a ray of sun makes them sparkle. Even if the day is rainy, there is occasional sunlight from behind the clouds, and it can't be rainy the whole day anyway! The whole premise of them "hiding" from sunshine by going to school on rainy days doesn't work, did the author mean to insult our intelligence by offering it? |
I can't really say my opinion about it goes any further than distaste. It's bad, and more than a little creepy. But most importantly, I'm really sick of hearing about it everywhere. You realize that you people who hate on it so are just making it MORE famous, right? It's terrible schlock. Something to be shunned, not repeatedly dug up.
|
I personally don't hate on it much, but it's nice to say what you think in a group like this one. Normally you can't, you're trying to be polite, like I can't say all that to my mother without making her feel frustrated. Venting about some movie isn't an acceptable reason to hurt feelings of close people, it would be silly and inconsiderate, but here it's ok.
And I do not think that this group promotes Twilight, nobody who haven't already seen it would join it. |
Twilight es mucho horrible....
Its also probably one of the most messed up movie series next to the Human Caterpillar, and please whatever you do, don't google that... also this: http://modthesims.info/showpost.php...06&postcount=65 |
There are so many reasons why I hate Twilight, but I will only name the big reasons. First of all its a terrible concept for a story and its clear as day that the character of Bella is really the author's self insert. Bella is the epitome of "mary sue". The idea of a vampire being attracted to said mary sue and "stalking" her is just creepy on all levels. Then of course there's the stupid love triangle between bella, dog boy and Edward, is it really necessary? So bella has to choose between beastiality and necrophilia.............okay. And why do vampires sparkle? what the hell sort of shit was the author smoking when she wrote this atrocity? Any ways I also can't stand the fantards but then again fans make everything worse. but yeah those are some of my reasons for hating twilight. enjoy.

Twilight fans are going WAY overboard. I met one nine year old and two ten year olds that can't stop talking about twilight. They've even seen every movie and they wear team Edward and Jacob shirts. I mean it's a movie and it already ended so you don't have to wear the freakin shirts people! I've met too many Twilight fans... God I think the world is going to end because of twilight.
|
Agreed, how much more of this rubbish do we have to put up with (typing in search box). 5 books and 6 films! WHY!!!!
|
I love Vampire Lestat, no other vampire comes close, Lestat is mysterious, sexy, mature...
Twilight is just unimaginative, saccharine crap for the masses. |
