I made a tropical fruit (think pineapple, guava, pear etc) and plum tart this afternoon, complete with home-made sweet pastry and crumble on top and oh my goodness it smells and tastes soooo good! Next time I just need to figure out a way to con the fiancé in to doing the dishes

I just did my hair perfectly, which is totally useful seeing as I'm not going anywhere tonight. It always happens this way. I'll take my hair down at the end of the day, just before I jump into the shower, and it will look flawless. Of course, as soon as I want to go out, it just looks like a total wreck.

But to make myself feel pretty, I'm painting my nails a lovely pink and finishing packing. My best friend is having a few people to her beach house to celebrate her 18th and we're heading down tomorrow. I'm so excited!

I just spent an hour on youtube listening to songs I used to like when I was little. I had the worst taste in music ever. Even worse, I still remember the lyrics and, horrifyingly, the dance routines to a majority of those songs. No wonder I've got no room in my head for the important stuff I'm supposed to know to pass my exams. Brightside, I can do this at the local hoedown instead.

I can't decide which skirt to wear to school tomorrow. The long one or the knee length one, I just wore the latter today so...I don't know.

About to start cleaning the kitchen, just made a big batch of banana chocolate chip muffins I love how baking makes the house smell so good. After that, have a coupla hours to kill before work. Being able to walk to work is such a novelty after having to leave home hours before work at my last job. Now I can leave 15 minutes before my shift starts. *win*

Been Skyping for three hours. It's down to basically listening to each other type.

Suffering through cramps and trying to quell the desire to go shopping.

Just got home from work. My best friend was there with his parents so when I finished I went to the bar and had a drink with them and got a lift home afterwords. I could really get used to working in such a local place.

I finally found a good spa in my city that does eyebrow threading, so I'm checking when I'm free to make an appointment there. It's taken me far too long to find this place!

I know it's late, and I know tomorrow is a lazy day, but I still am trying to make myself write that homework. I'm such a procrastinator.

Heh, last night I was tipsy after having that big drink on an empty stomach (don't do that!) so I didn't see this post when I was on.

I just got this stuff from the local pharmacy for period pain because my usual pain killers don't work any more, and let me tell you, it is AMAZING. I don't know if it has different names elsewhere but here it's called Ponstan and it's basically just Mefenamic Acid (250mgs). I get really nasty periods and the pain is awful, but I only needed one dose on the second day (when I got the painkillers) and no pain for the rest of the period. I totally recommend it!

Geah, I normally take Naprogesic, which I find helps a lot most of the time, but my body has an annoying habit of occasionally just rejecting painkillers. Curiously enough, Vegemite is the only thing which will cure my cramps 100% of the time, so I've stuck myself on a strict diet of Vegemite on toast for the next few days. Not that I'm complaining!

Being hungry. My dad said we might have pizza for dinner, but no promises... I really hope we do. Every time we want to have pizza, it always gets downgraded to something less desirable. I have no clue why.

Watching episode 1 of Princess Jellyfish. Seeing as Google has been persistently advertising it to me, I figured I'd check it out.

EDIT: That was actually pretty good. Funny, weird, but good. I think I'll add it to my to-watch list. Arigatou, Google!

I need a good shopping buddy, it's so ridiculous. The only people I really like shopping with are my mum, who happens to be in Singapore for the weekend, and my best friend, who lives three hours away, and I'm desperate for some retail therapy. I guess I'll just have to go into town by myself tomorrow and see what I can pick up, but it's never as fun without someone else there.

Building my butt off. This house is valued at §338,918 and I haven't even finished the wallpapering, which is my last build step (besides gates). The house is quite literally a sprawling mess, but I like it because it is.

I really hope I can accomplish my second ever million-Simoleon house.

I have so many characters that I want to make on The Sims. I have a notebook full of biographies for different Sims I will eventually make.

Why yes, I am obsessed!

It's at §651,718 now and I've only furnished the first floor and yards. Granted, I put a §50k fountain in the back, but there are no cars on the lot so far. The house has guest quarters, servant quarters, a lap pool + pool house, indoor and outdoor dining rooms, 8-car garage, a nectary in the basement and probably a couple hundred windows. It's starting to become my favorite creation yet.

Also, I just took a new medicine my doctor gave me last night that's meant to keep me calm. Hopefully it works. Anywho, back to building!

I'm about to bake a cake for my best friend's birthday and I'm still rejoicing at the news of a job interview on Monday.

Edit: Just got a call from work asking me to come in and cover tonight in an hour and a half. One of the girls I work with was in a car accident and we still don't know how bad it is. There goes my night off, but I really hope she's alright!
