Finishing off Inheritance, and I'm also re-reading Seventh Heaven, by Meg Cabot. OK, her books are really glitzy and teeny-boppy, but I do like her. At least she can create interesting and original characters, unlike a lot of popular teen fiction out there.
"Cyrano de Bergerac," by Edmond Rostand and "An Ideal Husband," by Oscar Wilde.
The Truth About Forever - Sarah Dessen and before that I was reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but it's kind of been put on hold.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Both ways is the only way I want by Maile Meloy
Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris
"Talent Is Overrated", by Geoff Colvin.
'Indiana' by George Sands (translated, obviously, sadly I'm not fluent in French).
"The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-time" by Mark Haddon. I finally found it :D
Edit: finished with that. Now I'm reading "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" by Douglas Adams. |
^ Dirk Gently's is great. Really weird, but great.
Reading Bones Would Rain from the Sky by Suzanne Clothier. Much lighter dog reading than the stuff on variable reinforcement schedules I've been reading lately! There's only so much technical ethology stuff I can take. |
"The English Patient," by Michael Ondaatje, and rereading "The Silmarilion," by J.R.R. Tolkien. I try to always be reading something contemporary and something classic.
I'm halfway through "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. It's so hard to put down, and I barely have any free time!
'Max' of the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. The first two books were amazing and then... downhill. The next one (6?) is out now, so I want to finish book 5.
A little bit like torture... |
'Red Rabbit' by Tom Clancy.
Just finished "Calculating God", by Robert J. Sawyer.
Just finished reading "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams for English class- such a beautifully written play! All of the characters are incredibly well presented, although they are somewhat stereotypical.
On my own time, I'm rereading "This is All", by Aidan Chambers. God, I love that book. ![]() |
The Witching Hour by Anne Rice.
Im reading the classics at the moment.
Fanny Hill by John Cleland and Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray |
