Please could the people who are playing this multiplayer game each post once here to reserve a post for links to the stories for their household.

In this order:

Please don't post until all the people on the list before you have posted so that the households are in the right order! :-D

Please can everyone else refrain from posting here until we get the players first posts so that all the links to the stories are kept together! Then people are free to comment etc :-)

Ok, change of plan! I will reserve about 8 posts (for the six players and a couple of spares) so that I can put the links in for all the households. This is in case anyone drops out along the way and stops updating, because then we wouldn't be able to update their household post anymore :-( So sorry about the octuple (!) post, mods, but I think that this is the easiest/most reliable way to do this and make it organised! Otherwise if someone dropped out/stopped posting we would have to ask the moderators to edit posts for us, and that would be more work for you guys :-)

When we start playing, players must upload their stories separately for each household to their own journal or blog, and then PM me the link(s) and I'll fill them in here :-D

Looks really fun! I thought about joining the neighborhood but decided I was busy enough with Illusion Bay and school.
Just one thing, is Jon's last name Mitchell or Matthews? Because it says Mitchell in the post but Matthews in his name. At first I thought you had put the Mitchells in both neighborhoods, haha!

It's Matthews - I changed it now :-) I got them a bit confused :-)

Yeah, playing the two neighbourhoods is time consuming, to say the least! I'm enjoying them both so far though. Now that I'm settled back home after my friend's wedding it shouldn't take me so long to pass Illusion Bay on next time..... Though having a family of 6 does not make for a relaxing play session!

I was going to upload my pics but I'm having trouble on Livejournal. So I might upload them to a Wordpress. I have to go run some errands really quick, so I'll try to make my story as soon as possible!

What date you pass the neighbourhhod on to simsora, Lavaster?

About 2-3 days after I had it. So Simsora's prolly had it for a week or two by now... or more! :O

After a couple of attempts I haven't had any luck contacting simsora about it, and they've had it for several weeks with no word, so I've passed it on to Exxy. If simsora still wants to be involved then I'll add them to the end of the play rotation.

I can see that Exxy has had the neighborhood for a week now, and the last time he was on was yesterday. I wonder if he's forgotten about it.

I don't know. Exxy did post in the other thread (the one in the sims discussion forum) to say that they'd got the neighbourhood, I'll PM them in a couple of days if we haven't heard anything :-)

Hope this kind of stuff stops happening. Long delays because the players aren't doing anything about the neighborhood are getting annoying! :P

Maybe we should set a deadline for how long a person can have the neighborhood.

I don't know about a fixed deadline, but some kind of rule about the person with the neighbourhood keeping us informed of how it's going would be good. I'll think about that overnight and let people know tomorrow, going to PM Exxy now and see how it's going :-)

I can no longer do it

Same AGS just totally messed up sims, it's almost unplayable.

So Simsora and Undercovers_Agent are bailing from the multiplayer, although I don't think Undercovers_Agent was on the list anyway... not sure, maybe it was left out or I'm just being blind

Exxy passed it on to me, and I'm about to start my round. I'm so excited. :D

I have indeed passed it on to Hiccle. To be fair, a week in sim time takes a lot longer that you would think. Especially when you have to stop and pause it all the time to take pictures. Speaking of which, I'll get the pictures onto LJ asap.

I've played my round now, and I've passed it on to christmas fear.

I know Exxy, playing takes aaaages when you have to remember to take pictures. I suck at remembering to take pictures..... :-( Though apparently it doesn't take ages if you're Hiccle.....

Oooh, not long now before it comes back to me! So exciting! Can't wait to see people's pictures :-D And play the next round!

i have the neighborhood at the moment. i've only played for about a sim day so far, but i take pictures of everything and i fill out a story from the my characters point of view. i wasn't clear on what we were doing for the storytelling part, so i'm sorry if i've messed up.
so far he's kind of narrating his life since moving to coppervale and talking about events as they happen (with pictures) one day at a time. hopefully mine will be passed back soon. if i've done anything wrong, let me know.

I know Kaila, me neither! I need to finish playing Illusion Bay's Round 3 before I get Coppervale back! Eeek, that's going to take some doing.... I also overdocument mine - 29 photos for the Rhys' Round 2 (in Illusion Bay).... Ooops! And Round 3 will have weddings for both households, expect about a bazillion pictures! :-D

Trying to be more sensible in Coppervale, but will probably fail....

Haha... I have 46 pictures for Pebbles round 3 but "only" 33 for Florals round 3. I think I overemphasize birthdays, but not as much as you overemphasize weddings! I look forward to seeing some beautiful weddings

okay, i'll try to get to finishing it today. i'm sort of a procrastinator, so i apologize.

another thing was that i was playing in my original sims 2 base game, and not ags because i haven't gotten around to reinstalling all of the sims 2 expansions yet after my computer was reimaged. i don't see how it could affect anything, but if it does somehow then let me know.

So who has it now?

BTW I'm going on a short vacation to Mexico on Friday and this weekend, so if it's my turn Fri, Sat, and/or Sun, I won't be here. Just thought I'd notify you all! And, again, who's got the game right now?

It's back with me now Lavaster, I shall be updating the readme file, playing the first full round and then passing it on :-) I have almost finished my turn on the Illusion Bay multiplayer game, so when I've passed that on I'll start on this round for Coppervale. Ok, I have a question. Lavaster, where in the neighbourhood is your household? As in, where is the house physically placed? I can only find Exxy and Hiccle's households, and mine, not sure if I'm overlooking yours or if something's gone wrong somewhere......

Hmm... somewhere in the middle, the front facing towards the top of the neighborhood, I think.

also, I remember looking for your family and being unable to find it Lavaster. you didn't have any camera mods installed, did you?

I have it at the moment - we're still trying to figure out what happened to Lavaster's family (but have been doing so via PM's). The camera mods question is a good question, I didn't think of that!

Also, Lavaster, did you write a bit about your household members in the neighbourhood story?
