On the other hand, it's kinda hilarious that her only other friend is the therapist. I'm pretty sure that has to be the NPC, because I have no Sim named "Therapist" with a blank last name.

It's a bug - the Therapist is one of the global/object NPCs, and shouldn't be showing in friend requests. Answering yes can potentially cause trouble with the Objects file(s).

Check if any of the "Objects.package" files in your install location has a "date changed" that doesn't match up with the rest of the files. If it has the same date, everything should be fine. If it has a changed date, it's possible there could be some issues.

The files are found in the "...TSData\Res\Objects" folder for each pack, in the install location.

You can replace the file(s) if you've got access to a clean version of the install files (if not, reinstall or fix the files via Origin/EAapp/Steam - make sure to backup your savegame files just in case). It should be possible to edit out relationships with the Therapist in SimPE to avoid future issues.

Thanks for the tips. Did a check both on the files and with SimPE and the files are untouched, plus he has no relation to Theodosius so I assume I either said no or quit without saving, phew.

So, something kinda awkward happened. I made a new family for my neighborhood. I moved said family into an old lot where there was a small graveyard of the previous owners of the lot. Which does pose a challenge, dealing with ghost (kinda cute that one of said ghost is happy his old bed still remains). Anyhow, today the kid came home from school with a friend... thing is, the kid was part of the old family but was taken away by social services due to neglect. So now he's back on the lot where his parents are buried... awkward.

That is a very good example of the surprises Sims 2 keeps coming up with!
