The Kii -- Across the Mists to a new home

“Just our usual luck to get caught in the middle of a civil war,” the Kii Phoenix commented wryly, as the rulers of the Kii watched yet another group of their people slip through the Mist Curtain into a new realm. He slipped an arm around the shoulders of the Dolphin, offering comfort. She leaned into his embrace, blue-skinned face calm, but weary. Her gift was smoothing the path for their people through the turbulent mists. She’d been hard at work at the endeavor for days now.

“We ought to join the war, fight with the councilors who have some honor. I hate running away from this.” The Kii Dragon hated running from any fight, but this one was particularly hard, since it meant their people had to leave yet another world just as they were starting to settle in. He sounded fierce, but the look he directed at his sister, Willow was filled with worry. The Unicorn was making sure that every group who entered the Mist left with full health.

“The Peace Coalition has dissolved. Even Zahar Aelavain is fleeing across the Mist. He takes his entire household to the new land.” None of the others questioned how Hallae, the silver-skinned Eye, knew this. It was her gift, and her curse, to Know, to See. “The war is lost, only chaos and death will follow if we try to halt the usurpers.”

The fact that the deposed head of the elven High Council fled the land came as a huge surprise to the rest of the Eight. If he abandoned the fight, then war was indeed lost. Kierdrim, the Griffon, shrugged philosophically, but they all knew the hours he’d spent meeting with the Peace Coalition leaders, trying to help solidify their group’s goals. “Greed rules in this case. The humans and the usurpers in the elven council want power and wealth. They think this is the way to acquire it. The fact that it comes at the expense of their own people seems to mean nothing to them.”

“How is our Rose doing, Hallae? You’re the only one that can talk to her through the Mist.” The Tiger hunched down next to the Eye, concerned for the sister that had already gone through the mist to prepare the way.”

“The land blooms with vitality. She is finding joy in her task. The humans who dwell there seem not to notice her white skin. Perhaps they see nothing to alarm them in her gentle powers.”

“Hmmm. I suppose when the rest of us arrive that will change fast enough,” the Tiger commented cynically, his fingers reforming into tiger’s claws briefly, then returning to normal. “I’m sure between Kaid and myself we’ll soon scare the friendliness right out of them.”





This race was created based on an unpublished manuscript. In the book, this is a race of people created by illegal gene manipulation. Barely considered people by most, they are hounded across the galaxy. One of the reasons they are so feared and hated is the strange powers they wield. There are 8 realms, each with it's own color: red for fire, green for earth, gold for air, blue for water, purple for heart, silver for sight, white for flower, and black for beast. I truly wish I could figure out a way to grant them their powers on Sims2, but I haven't been able to make any headway on learning to use BHAV's, so for now, all I can do is the skins, and eyes. (Those aren't included in this post.)

These skins are for all ages and genders. You don't need any expansion packs to use them, though YA is supported. In the all black CAS picture I've included a person with Maxis darkest skin, for comparison. My "black” is quite a bit darker than theirs, plus its foundation color is blue instead of brown, eliminating that reddish cast that very dark skin has. This is very dark, but not flat looking. The skins here are in two rar files: flower, beast, and sight, (white, black, and silver) and water and air (blue and gold).
