Most people would consider this useless, but if you are building huge lots, like I do, you might have had some problems with them. Here an example: Try to build a 7 storied Hogwarts, then notice you forgot the fireplace in Slytherin dungeon. After placing it the chimney will go through all the upper stories :smash:.
Now we've cleared the usefulness, lets get to business:
There are two fireplaces to download - the colonial and the moroccan one. Don't think I want to plaster your downloads folder with data you already have installed! I heavily reduced filesize by referencing the original meshes and textures. (e.g. filesize of original colonial fireplace: 578 KB -> no-chimney-file: 24 KB)
Both fireplaces use the Maxis colours and every recolour you have installed. I also included a grey stone recolour for both of them. Like the title says, they are fully functionable. That means they use all usual fireplace animations.
Do not look for this in the chimneys section. It's in Appliances - Miscalleneous
Known Issue
For some reason you should not move the fireplaces after you first placed them. If you do so, the chimney will be there again. I have no idea why this is so, but if someone does, please tell me!
Compatibility
This should be compatible with the base-game. I'm not sure though, so base-game testers are appreciated.
This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.
