Updated Crib: I finally found the code to release the zzzzz from toddlers when they wake up. Please report any problems you find with these. Be sure to delete your older version and replace with the new file.

Updated Crib to be compatiable with Inge's great global hack. Please download the file named UpdatedBecksCribWithDustRuffle.zip and overwrite the previous version.

I also made it useable by both infants and toddlers. Fixed animations to be base game compable. Thanks to reported problem found by chimpee28.

I found a flaw in my toddler bed, when toddlers wake up they still have the zzzzzzzzzz. I've added code to end this. Sorry for the inconvience. Please overwrite the file with the updated version. File names are the same.


After several weeks of coding this crib, to get it just right, I believe I have finally done it.

Please note that any item that has been recoded can cause problems in your game, mainly freezing up and crashes. I have tested this quite extensively and have not had any problems like these.

This is a crib for toddlers only. They will wiggle into their pj's just prior to putting themselves to bed and as they are done sleeping they will wiggle into their casual outfits just prior to getting out of bed themselves. Parents can not put toddlers to bed nor can babies use this crib. I had intended to use it for both but found it much easier to do it this way.

This crib used the repository technique to pull textures from the maxis crib, the dust ruffle used the mattress textures for it's textures. It will also use any recolors created for the maxis crib but I've found that many recolors did recolor the frame so those type will not match. The dust ruffle is attached to the frame of the bed to recolor it the option to recolor the frame must be selected. You don't actually have to change anything just have the option selected, when creating your recolors, the maxis textures are all in one texture file, it's just needs the setting to include the frame selected. I hope I explained this ok.
