As you can imagine it was very difficult to get a house of this size, with a brick exterior, under $20k. As a result, the house is VERY sparsely furnished, containing only the bare minimums to start your Sims off. They will need to buy some skills items as soon as they can. As the family grows, the purchase of 2 staircases will make the basement and bonus attic accessible. However, it's a perfectly livable house to start, with very classic styling and with enough room to last your family for generations.
