-*Holidays at Phae's*- TONS of Winter Outfits, All Ages, Both Genders!

I'm celebrating two things with this post, the first one being, obviously, the Holidays. My second reason is that I recently reached 100,000 downloads! YAY! To celebrate I didn't want just another set of default replacement clothes, or even a cool house. I really like creating clothes just to make pretty (still Maxisy) clothes. So, home and bored, I decided to see what I could come up with! That ended up being 50+ outfits and the best are here for you! All of the ladies have dressy new coats they can wear in the winter, and the boys got sweaters. Anti-climatic for the boys, I know, but I just kept thinking about all the commercials on TV right now showing people giving guys sweaters, then they go off and buy themselves a car or a razor. lol. I wanted to keep to the 'stereotype'.

Back story about the coat: When I was about 12 my Grandmother gave me a gray wool coat with black fur trim so I would have a nice coat to go to church in because I was a 'young lady' now. I loved how grown up and fancy I looked in that coat, so I decided to recreate it here for you all. I didn't want to leave out the boys, so I made them 'tacky Christmas sweaters'. However, I think they turned out rather well, and they don't scream 'Christmas' so I called them Winter Sweaters instead. I think they are kinda pretty even. I feel kinda bad that I didn't have more clothes for the young girls to wear, as that was the majority of the things that got deleted. I had about 16 little green and red mistletoe jumpers with various colors of undershirts and tights, but as I did the other ages those started looking worse and worse.



I have uploaded them in four sets, listen closely. All outfits are made on BaseGame meshes so they 'technically' are all BaseGame compatible.*
pcaf-Holidays Contains: 3 Toddler Dressecoats: the red coat, and the two dresses that are red AND green, 2 Child Dresscoat: the red coat ones, 1 Adult coat: the red coat one.
tf-Holidays Contains: All the female Teen clothes: 4 Jumpers, 2 Jumpsuits.
WinterSweaters Contains: Boys Sweaters: 4 Teen Sweaters, 4 Child Sweaters.
WoolCoats Contains: All the Wool Coats: 5 Toddler Dresscoats, 3 Child Dresscoats, 2 Teen Coats, 5 Adult Coats, 2 Elder Coats

*All of the normal Wool Coats will appear in Outerwear, and the teen ones will also appear in Everyday. If you don't have seasons, but you do have SimPE you can manually edit them to appear in Everyday by following some of the tutorials on this site, otherwise, you won't be able to see them until you get Seasons. All of the Boys sweaters (child and teens) appears in Everyday, so no problems there. All of the outfits from pcaf-Holidays.rar will appear in Everyday and Outerwear, and all of the outfits from tf-Holidays.rar will appear in Everyday only.

I'll feel bad if you don't download the Wool Coats and the Sweaters, but I'll understand if the Holiday outfits aren't your style, especially some of the teen ones... Though, in their defense, people do wear some awfully ugly things in the spirit of the Holidays!

Last thing, I promise. I'm thinking of using my wool coat as a starting point for a Default Replacement Set for the Girl's Dresscoat and the Toddler's Dresscoat. Do you guys like how they turned out well enough for that? I'm asking you this time because this is a pretty big jump from what they look like originally. Usually I try to stay with roughly the same colors. Toddlers have three dresses with this mesh, I was thinking about using my Red, Gold, and Sky Blue colors pictured. The girls dress I'd stay a bit closer to the original. What do you guys think?

By the way, do have ANY idea how long it took me to get that Holiday Card shot? Those things are murder in real life AND in the Sims! ...wait for it to snow, get everyone dressed, get everyone outside, go back and change a dirty diaper, outside again, pose, hold it, .... "hold it, just one more, smile Striker, ... hold it, shh-hush Fawn it's alright, King scoot in a bit, smile everyone, hold it ...."
