The lack of a shorts mesh for kids has bugged me for freaking forever. I'm starting to get the hang of this meshing thing so I thought I've give it a try. I used the hidden cmBottomShorts mesh and made a full body mesh based off of it and made 34 textures for my new mesh. Though looking back on it now, this would have been a great mesh for kid's athleticwear too, maybe someone else will use it for that?

The first set is 6 girls tank top and shorts outfits. Summer is starting and I'm sick of seeing all my tom-boy sim girls (who refuse to wear a miniskirts) in a t-shirt and long pants, they must get hot wearing those!


The next set of four is made from a hidden shorts texture for girls pajama bottoms. I think they are kinda ugly, but I didn't make them, Maxis did. I've removed the CC star on them as they are Maxis. The next four (pictured below) are hidden boys boxers. Again I did not make the textures and I've removed the CC star.


The next two sets are a conversion set for the men's silky boxers. I've created both a set with the regular Maxis texture and another with my replacement texture. (It was updated March 9, make sure you redownload it so they match!) Similarly I've also created two sets that are matches for the Maxis swimtrunk texture and my replacement textures of them. All 20 have had the CC star removed. Images shown are my replacement texture matching sets. See below for Maxis matching.


Install Instructions:If you would like the delete button to be disabled in CAS then place the files directly, or make a subfolder, in the following location and put the files there instead of in your Downloads folder. C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 FreeTime\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins (or whichever is your highest expansion pack folder).

Recolor Policy for This Mesh: Yes, you may recolor it! I'd take it as a compliment if you did. However, please do not reupload my mesh anywhere and only post your recolors here at MTS2. You may reuse any of the Maxis conversion textures without asking for my permission, I didn't make them, resizing them really doesn't count as much, so I don't feel that I have any claim over them. However, you may NOT reuse my swimtrunk texture or my plaid boxers texture without first asking for my permission in a PM. I put a lot of hard work into them and I'm not ready to abandon my babies just yet. Also as a recolors note/convience, anything made for this mesh will easily convert to my mesh and vice versa. That mesh is the bottom only version of this one. Thanks!
