Cedar Walls and Flooring

I decided to make this set because I really don’t like the wood that Maxis uses, and I don’t like the fact that the Beadboard Wainscoting doesn’t have the same molding as the Coffered Wainscoting does. I like to use them next to each other sometimes and it really bugs me that the molding doesn’t match.


I got the wood textures from the Wood Workshop program available at www.spiralgraphics.biz. I used the program to make the flooring with different patterns. For the wall coverings I used existing Maxis baseboards, moldings and wainscoting and adjusted the color on it to match the cedar wood.

I got the wallpaper texture from The Fat Strawberry at www.fatstrawberry.com.

The cedar board flooring is the same as my flooring found here.

I have uploaded the set in a number of different ways in part because I like to have different options in downloading something and I really hate having to download everything separately I hate downloading a whole set when all I want is just a few pieces, and I hate downloading something I already have.

I have also uploaded the templates for the walls set 15 are png files while set 16 are psd photoshop files.
