My game needed a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and I decided to share in case somebody else would like one too. This guy is based upon one of my own dogs, who is a Ridgeback x Mastiff (but basically looks like a super-sized ridgie).
A bit of breed info - the Ridgeback was developed as a hunting dog and as a family companion/guardian. They are best known as lion hunters - a pack of Ridgebacks would be used to track and hold a lion at bay until the hunter could come along and kill it. They are intelligent and loyal, but tend to be rather aloof with strangers. The main feature of the breed is the ‘ridge’ – a strip of hair along the back that grows in the opposite direction to the rest of the coat. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a way to create this in-game, but up to 30% of Ridgebacks lack a ridge anyway.
