-Credit Where Its Due- Apartment Life's Stolen Clothing Conversions

I've got Apartment Life and a working computer now, so you know what that means! Goodies!!!! In addition to this spiffy new mod I've also updated my ever popular Clothing Mod, so go check that out too!

At first I was thrilled to see so many new outfits for so many ages when I opened up the clothing catalog after installing Apartment Life, then I realized many of these 'new' outfits were really just age conversions of FreeTime outfits. FreeTime didn't give us very many outfits and now I know why, EAxis was saving them for Apartment Life!

Well, whenever I download an age conversion outfit I always make sure its properly linked to its parent texture thereby making it MUCH SMALLER in file size and also that it has the proper flag. I know that it 'really' is custom, but I SO hate that custom star. I reflag the outfit to give it the EP flag that its parent outfit has. So I did the same for the outfits that came with AL that SHOULD have come with FreeTime. There were also a couple that were from Nightlife (though hidden), Kitchen and Bath, and Teen Style Stuff. Shame on you Eaxis!

These are the outfits I'm talking about, and now you can see them with their 'proper' flags! In addition to these outfits shown I've also fixed the flags on the three Nightlife 'Moto' jackets and three 'bottom wide jeans', and the 'ponypuff' hair that came with Teen Style Stuff originally.


Install Instructions: Ok, it's cool, but how does it work? Well, place the file that you downloaded here: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Highest Expansion Pack You Have\TSData\Res\Catalog\Skins and it works like magic! If you put it in your Downloads folder all these outfits will get the custom star (I think) and they WILL BE DELETABLE (aka, GAME CORRUPTIBLE, or BAD) Also, if you are a clothing recolorer try to remember that any outfits recolored from these will still require AL and not what their new flag says!
