Sunni sadly passed away in January of 2018. They were a generous creator sharing their talent and time, and will be greatly missed all though the sims community.
I received numerous requests for an invisible hotel concierge desk for themed neighborhoods. In order to make the desk invisible there are two parts, the base and the surface. You can use the base or surface together to create a completely invisible hotel desk, or either part separately for multiple options.

1. Hotel Desk Base - I have made an invisible recolor of the small hotel concierge desk. By using the 'moveobjects on' cheat you can slide the desk on top of any other kind of counter you would like to use (or none at all) and use the tool to turn it invisible. This will give you more options for different kinds of themes.



2. Hotel Desk Surface - Both the large and small concierge desk in the game share the same surface contents (book, pen, phone, bell) image. These are not recolorable, therefore a default replacement is provided. You get two options -

Completely Invisible = absolutely no contents on the desk at all. When your Sim checks into the hotel the book remains invisible even though he appears to sign it.



Book Only = The only item to show up on the desk will be the book and it will remain for the check-in animation.





On a side note, I did try make various surface recolors for more options, such as only the phone being invisible. However, the bell, pen holder, part of the phone all share the same texture. So, that means the phone can't be eliminated and the other items remain. They all go together or stay.

Choose only one default replacement of the surface texture to put in your downloads folder at a time.
