today i bring you 12 **all new AND original** retextures/recolours of PeggyZone's #006915 wavy hair, featuring 4 bonus custom colours. inspired by the awesome texturing and recolouring work of artists such as Nouk and Pooklet, i have spent the last few months toiling away at my own textures and colours to come up with some really cool new, realistic looking, shiny hairs for your sim ladies. this is my favourite new PeggyZone female sim hair. i hope you like them.



all natural recolours are colour-binned in the correct bins. while i made greys for each colour they have not been binned as greys but should show up on your elder sims as they age or as an option for hair colour for elder sims. all custom recolours are of course, unbinned as usual.



Naturals:

Black - Licorice, Olive (binned)
Brown - Chocolate, Caramel (binned)
Blonde - Honey, Vanilla (binned)
Red - Strawberry, Peach (binned)

Custom:

White - Snow
Yellow - Pineapple
Dark Green - Forest
Light Green - Lime

these recolours are suitable for female sims of all ages - preschoolers, children, teens, young adults, adults and elders, and i presume aliens, vampires, zombies, lycans and witches if you wish!

all sim ladies modelling the hair in these images are in base-game skins/eyes/clothing that can all be found in the Sims 2.

i have rendered each hair colour package to their own .rar files so you can download any colour you like out of the set individually or download them all if you want.

base-game compatible, no EPs required.

although these textures and recolours are my completely original works - they are NOT Nouked OR Pooklet'd, i would like to thank both Nouk and Pooklet for inspiring me to make my own textures better with their previous texturing and colour-action work. i have worked hard to make my new textures appear similar to the smooth, glossy style both of these artists have achieved in working together and although my colours do not quite reach the richness of depth that Pooklet'd colour actions can get to, i did my very best to create full, beautiful recolours of my own. well, Pooklet and Nouk are my favourite hair colourists and i can't really compare my work to their stuff (because theirs is the best!) but i had fun creating these. i hope you all enjoy them.

i would also like to thank Amy Stasia (not at this site), another lovely 3D artist who helped me learn the basics in PhotoShop CS2 when i did not know what i was doing and just starting out. thank you Amy, for your patience and showing me all those neat tricks with brushes, lighting, motion blur and other effects to make such realistic looking hair.
