Maxis "Rough & Comfy Bed" Recolors

I like this bed. It reminds me of the bed I had when I was a kid, with the drawers underneath. So, I use it often in kids' bedrooms in my Sim-houses. However, I got tired of the dark wood that is the only color it comes in out of the box. So, I made some recolors.

First, kid-friendly recolors in pastel-y colors plus white. For these colors, I simplified the textures quite a lot as well; the original heavy grain wasn't working for me in pastel colors. There are seven colors of this version, as follows:


Or, if pastels aren't your thing, have some Maxis-matching woods instead. These retain the frame's original rough shading/graining and the colors match the four Maxis woods used on the Mission-style furniture, which is what I use most often in my game. Here they are:

All of these will, of course, take any beddings you have. It's a bed from Freetime, so you'll need that EP. The files are Compressorized to be as kind to your Downloads folder as possible. They are also clearly named so that you can discard the colors you don't want.
