You’re out of work, and no one is hiring for the career you seek. You want out of the house, so in the mean time, you tag along with your distant relative who picks you up for small rides around town. You chat, talking about the weather, politics, and what have you, and pick up some lottery on the way home, hoping for the best in your winnings. Good luck!

Successful Scratcher

You’ve made quite a bit of money and feel confident enough to try your hand at Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, and Caribbean Poker. Cards are your game now, and so far you’re doing well. Even your distant relative bets on your success, along with a few casino visitors. Keep working your logic and creativity skills, & maybe you’ll hit it big with the High Rollers.

§444 for 6 hours per day, 5 days a week

High Rollers Player
You’ve made impressions with casinos around town. Dealers know you and visitors wave and tip their hats. Gone are the days you spend your own cash. Now you, and a select group of other people who are now your co-workers, are bankrolled by an anonymous group of “investors”. You expand your horizon to the Craps and Roulette tables. And you’re winning big…and losing a lot too. Try keeping up the good work, or else some nasty stuff may occur.

§700 for 10 hours per day, 4 days a week

Lotto Groupie
Trying to keep your “investors” happy is becoming trickier, especially since the casinos are barring you from playing their games since you’re too good. The “investors” understand and decided to let you go, in good faith (thank goodness). Luckily, your distant relative is a member of an exclusive lottery group, and helps you get initiated. You’re now a part of the secret Sims Lottery Statisticians (SLS) group. The pay is not as good as at the casinos, but keep a positive outlook and who knows what will happen.

§200 for 4 hours per day, 7 days a week

Lotto Group Leader
“Impressive!”, your distant relative remarks. You’ve managed to make lots of friends and have been elected as this month’s group leader of your neighborhood’s SLS division. You discuss and collect everyone’s input on what numbers to bet, see how the SLS divisions of other neighborhoods are doing, and finalize it. Keep up the good work. It seems to be paying off well compared to the average lottery player. Oh, and since you’re the leader, you get a bigger cut of the betting pool.

§600 for 6 hours per day, 5 days a week

Level 9
Slick Statistician Of Chance
You’ve learnt the odds, you’ve experienced the games that the nation has to offer, and you make your bets on the most likely winning numbers and tickets. You’ve been conducting some computer programming experiments on the side to see if your numbered draws come out. Aside from collecting from the SLS Group, you’ve also been collecting quite a chunk of change, but never that elusive jackpot. That computer program might not be perfect, but at least it pays the bills.
