Curiosity Dorm - NO CC

I've always thought the Curious family house had a quite nice design, but it always struck me as not being the kind of building I would create for a family...
I think it is more apt for an investigation center than for family life for sure. But that family is too curious for normal family life anyway!

So, why not turn it into an university building?
I thought it might become a nice dorm for my simmies who want to study in La Fiesta Tech, but it will also look neat on any modern-looking custom university.

That's why I created this small dorm for 4, which is broadly based on the Curious house but has a different structure and is decorated in another fashion.
It's a dorm after all!


The building

This dorm has 4 bedrooms, each of them including a single bed and a desk for the diligent students to do their assigments.
There are 2 shared computers in the living room, along with a cool TV to spend their time and a bookshelf for them to study or read.

And what about entertaiment?
A basketball court, chess and a telescope complete the offer.

There is cafeteria service for the residents and their guests, and also an outdoor grill located on the top floor at the students disposal .

The bathroom is not separated by gender but by use, so dormies using the shower won't ocuppy all the toilets for long.
There are 3 toilet stalls, 2 sinks and 2 mirrors in one room. There are 2 showers (each in a private room) and a wardrobe in the other room.

Landscaping was kept simple in order to resemble the Curious house and look like a desert, so there is plenty of room for your Sims to put a hot tub or whatever they may want to buy with their scholarships money.


Skills

A dorm must have items which allow your sims to build the required skills. Here your sims will have it all!

About

This building is based on the Curious house, but only as a reference -the original building was not cloned in any manner.
Actually, the lot size is different, the structure is different, and most of the details (doors, windows, etc.) have been changed. Not to mention decoration.
But I think the inspiration is way obvious.

This lot was created in a safe enviroment with AGS. It has never been inhabited in order to keep it free from corruption damage.
A copy of this file was tested in normal gameplay during several sessions to ensure there was no problems, but if you find any issue please let me know.
