The Dunroban Mansion is based on the house plan from Archival Designs' Dunrobin Castle.



The ground floor hosts the dining room, the living room, the guest bedroom, a small library, the kitchen and breakfast area, the solarium, the sitting room, two bathrooms, and where the garages were in the original plan there are two spare hobby/skill rooms (gym and art room) and one of the bathrooms.

At the back there is a pool, and a large area for outdoor activities and events. There is also enough space to add a parking spot in case your sims have vehicles of their own.

On the first floor you'll find the master bedroom and bath. A suite and two other bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The second floor has the game room and the office with access to an extra "secret" room.

The lot is furnished with little more than the basics. I didn't want to submit it empty and leave some players wondering what to do with so many rooms, but I didn't want to completely furnish it either because I wanted it to be versatile, so that each player could furnish it and change the layout to their liking with their sims in mind. It's meant to be a canvas with a few guidelines, which can be easily followed or ignored.



! The only CC used in this lot is one of crocobaura's open underneath Maxis stairs, which are fundamental to maintain aesthetic cohesion and fidelity to the original plan.

! I also advise the use of dickhurt's "Water "half tile" flowers fix & Water inaccessible flowers fix", as well as Cyjon's "Trim Inaccessible Bushes" mod for optimal garden maintenance.
