Mod Description

This is a script mod that makes it possible for sims in the Lifeguard career to be offered and perform jobs on pool lots as well as the usual beach lots.

Details

Just install the mod and any lifeguard sim that you are playing will be offered jobs on any community lot marked as either a Pool or Beach (without the mod only beach jobs are spawned - which is why the job will still be called "Survey Beach" regardless of lot type). If you'd like your sim to work on a lot that's neither of these types, you can use the testingcheatsenabled true then CTRL+Shift+click > Spawn Job on the lot method to generate a job on any lot you like.

The job description remains the same no matter which type of lot it is, random sims on the lot may spontaneously faint or "drown" while swimming and it's your lifeguard's job to save the day. One notable difference is that you'll probably see more drowning sims on pool lots, since jumping into a pool is so much easier for a sim to do compared to swimming out until the water is deep enough to drown, which is required on beach lots but often fails because of the terrain.

The mod also manufactures some dramatic tension by pushing sims in the vicinity to panic a little when a sim starts "drowning" on the job.
