From The Book series Harry Potter, twins Padma and Parvati Patil were accepted into Hogwarts in 1991 where they were sorted into different houses, which was noted as unusual for family members let alone twins. Both girls are skilled in Defense against the dark arts, potions, dueling charms. They're also known to be very pretty.


Padma, the more quiet and studious of the two was sorted into Ravenclaw. But she is also very determined and courageous, unafraid to stand up for what's right, though can sometimes be hypocritical.


Parvati the more outgoing and less serious was sorted to Gryffindor, like her sister she's determined and courageous and unafraid to stand up for what's right but also loyal to her friends, though she can be insensitive at times.
