I've been experimenting with tiny living and had an idea about a small, industrial-looking old building.

I furnished it in a way to have a nice business place but keep the price relatively low. (I extensively used hidden from catalog free floor and wall patterns all around the house to save on costs.)

The first floor has a cozy cafe ready for opening. Even though it's designed as a coffee house, the space there has a nice layout for any kind of small business at home.

The second floor has only the essentials for living, something for your Sims to improve with their hard-earned money

Starter House Version
It's the same house but stripped down to make it less expensive. And it requires only Open for Business (OFB) and Apartment Life (AL) expansion packs.

Notice
  • I tested the lot, and everything seems to be working.
  • The exterior walls are on the restricted edges of the lot since it was shrunk. This means using walls to add a new level won't be possible unless you expand the lot first using LotAdjuster. But you can still use fences and greenhouse walls though.
  • It might seem that the game won't allow window placement on the second floor at first, but you just have to make windows face inward and place them from the inside.
