My friend asked me...
"You build all these remakes in The Sims 2 and I have a house from The Sims 3 that I always liked to play in. Could you remake it in The Sims 2?"
...And without hesitation I said:
"Which one?"
So what I present to you is The Sims 3 - "Americana - 2br, 2ba", remade in The Sims 2!

Original The Sims 3 lot description:
"The yellow-painted country house anchors the west end of the Skyborough neighbourhood, welcoming guests with an inviting, corner-facing porch."

A few words from me:
Firstly I wanted to make this house british-styled but considering the name of its original version I abandoned this idea. I looked for some inspiration on the internet how american-styled rooms could look like and using my own ideas and these inspirations I came up with this build.
I had problems with diagonal rooms on the front because setting objects diagonally in The Sims 2 can make them unusable but I managed to make them work after all.
I like how overall the house looks like with this brick walls. Here I have to admit that I don't have a hand to make gardens, but this big garden turned out quite nicely with this pool and sitting area for the whole family or just to throw parties outside.
Inside you can find a mix of styles, because for example kitchen looks fancy and expensive when a living room is more cottage-styled. I like how thouse styles mix together making it all one beautiful piece.

Originally this house in The Sims 3 is made to be set on a corner of the street. It is possible in The Sims 2 with mods. There are 2 versions of this house now on this site. I made one of them to visually look like it's on a corner lot but it's not. So I came up with a solution for this version:

You can see that I placed some world editor items to make it look like its second gate has connection to the sidewalk.

UPDATE! - 02.02.2025
I added a corner version of this house so you can go ahead and download it if you like!
It is attached to the sidewalk from the left side of the lot.
(Many thanks for the user ScaryRob for giving me a hint how to make a corner lot!)

In the end my friend said that he really likes what I've created and he will use it in future so I think my mission here i completed!

I used Lot Adjuster to make this lot to have the size I wanted. You can put it anywhere in the neighbourhood as you wish.
Here's the link to the Lot Adjuster:

I used cheats to build it, I tested it so it should work fine.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.

I hope you like it!
